Jerk King Prawn Pasta

Serves 3




1tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/3 jar Jerk Marinade

Big handful fresh chopped parsley

2 medium onions (chopped)

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

15 large king prawns




  1. Stir up the marinade thoroughly. Pour it over the prawns in a bowl and stir to coat. Cover and put in the fridge for 15 mins before you start cooking.
  2. Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the onions until transparent -about 5mins.
  4. Continue to fry the onions on a very low heat to sweeten them -about 5mins. Add more oil if they’re sticking.
  5. Put the prawns and the marinade in the frying pan and fry until they’re opaque -about 3 mins.
  6. Stir in the lemon juice and parsley.
  7. Stir the sauce and prawns into the pasta and serve.
