Smoked Mackerel Pate with Rich & Creamy Mayonnaise

Serves: 4 as a starter

Ingredients

  • 4 smoked mackerel fillets (approx 300g)
  • 200g full fat cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Rich & Creamy Mayonnaise
  • 1 dsp Strong Horseradish Cream
  • squeeze of lemon

Method

Remove the skins and any pin bones from the mackerel fillets.

Put the fish into a food processor and whiz for a few seconds. Add the cream cheese, Mayonnaise, and Horseradish and whiz again for a good minute. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to taste.

Put in the fridge for a harder set or dive right in. Serve with crusty bread or crudités.
